Daniel Spoerri discovered in the mid 60ies the "Museu Sentimental" of Federic Marés in Barcelona. Marés was artist, collector and director of the Museu Marés. Besides the extraordinay collection of sculptures from Middle Ages until 19th century he presented at the third floor the so called "Sentimental Museum". This special collection included objects of every-day-life who stand in a certain personal relation to the collector.
